Актуальность. Особенность выделения авторами именно «женского вопроса» как одной из основных составляющих при характеристике этой эпохи позволяет определить абсолютно новый ракурс раскрытия проблемы становления раннехристианского мировоззрения. В статье делается акцент на определение места женщины в частной жизни, ее роли в семье, в обществе и в раннехристианской общине. Климент Александрийский принимал непосредственное участие в формировании основных христианских догм Доникейского периода и поднял тему онтологического статуса женщин.Целью данной статьи является изучение и анализ «женского вопроса» в ряде произведений Климента Александрийского сквозь призму рассмотрения онтологического статуса женщины в раннем христианстве в целом.Задачи: отследить жизненный и творческий путь Климента Александрийского с целью выявления специфики раскрытия им заявленной проблемы; проанализировать основные труды Климента Александрийского как неотъемлемой части культурного наследия II-III вв. н.э.; изучить специфику «женского вопроса» на примере трудов «Педагог» и «Строматы»; определить место и роль женщины в обществе, семье, христианской общине в контексте учения Климента Александрийского;Методология. В процессе работы над исследованием использовались преимущественно структурно-диахронный, историко-биографический, герменевтический метод, метод системного анализа.Результаты исследования могут использоваться в ходе осуществления учебного процесса при рассмотрении вопросов в рамках различных курсов по антропологии, истории философии, истории древнего мира, этики, разделов социогендерной идентичности и пр.Вывод. В результате исследования выяснилось, что Климент Александрийский признает онтологическое равенство мужчин и женщин и уважение к женскому полу в Византии проявлялось как в высказываниях богословов, так и в той роли, которую женщины играли в политической и культурной жизни империи поздней античности.

Relevance. The peculiarity of the authors ' identification of the "women's question" as one of the main components in the characterization of this era allows us to define an absolutely new perspective on the problem of the formation of the Early Christian worldview. The article focuses on determining the place of women in private life, their role in the family, in society and in the early Christian community. Clement of Alexandria was directly involved in the formation of the main Christian dogmas of the Pre-Nicene period and raised the topic of the ontological status of women.The purpose of this article is to study and analyze the "women's question" in a number of works of Clement of Alexandria through the prism of considering the ontological status of women in early Christianity as a whole.Оbjectives: to track the life and creative path of Clement of Alexandria in order to identify the specifics of his disclosure of the stated problem; to analyze the main works of Clement of Alexandria, as an integral part of the cultural heritage of the II-III centuries. AD; to study the specifics of the "women's issue" on the example of the works "Educator" and "Stromata"; to determine the place and role of women in society, family, Christian community in the context of the teachings of Clement of Alexandria;Methodology. In the process of working on the study, the authors used mainly the structural-diachronic, historical-biographical, hermeneutic method, and the method of system analysis.The results of the research can be used in the course of the educational process when considering issues in various courses on anthropology, the history of philosophy, the history of the ancient world, ethics, sections of sociogender identity, etc.Сonclusion. The study revealed that Clement of Alexandria recognized the ontological equality of men and women, and respect for the female sex in Byzantium was manifested both in the statements of theologians and in the role that women played in the political and cultural life of the empire of late antiquity.
