Исторические изменения в политико-стратегическом и экономико-торговых отношениях России со странами Запада нуждаются в теоретико-практическом осмыслении с точки зрения потребности в подготовке будущих специалистов к работе с зарубежными партнерами.   Цель – анализ и критическое переосмысление зарубежных моделей межкультурной компетентности.   Задачи: изучить три ключевые модели компетенции (модель пирамиды Дирдорфа, модель ICOPROMO и модель Фиппса), а также обосновать особую роль доверия в модели коммуникативной компетентности.   Методология. Автор опирается на общенаучные методы исследования – анализ, синтез и сравнение, а также развивает сравнительный подход к анализу рассматриваемых моделей межкультурной компетентности.   Результаты. В статье обосновывается положение о том, что модель пирамиды Дирдорфа, модель ICOPROMO и модель Фиппса ориентированы на снятие противоречий в межкультурном общении представителей западных и незападных культур. Это достигается за счет изучения английского языка, а также сравнения норм, ценностей и паттернов западных и незападных социокультурных систем. При этом накопленный индивидом в процессе обучения и опыта взаимодействия с представителями «чужих» культур «символический капитал» будет способствовать его более успешному взаимодействию в условиях глобализации рынка труда и интернационализации мирового хозяйства.   Выводы. Межкультурная компетентность представлена как комплекс когнитивно-познавательных, эмоционально-чувственных и мотивационно-поведенческих навыков, которые содействуют достижению более эффективного общения с представителями других культур. В статье обосновывается вывод, что в результате овладения межкультурными компетенциями менеджер будет способен выйти на социально-психологического и культурно-образовательный уровень профессионального развития, способствующий развитию более доверительных отношений с иностранными партнерами. Отмечается необходимость развития научной дискуссии о моделировании современного подхода к развитию межкультурной компетентности.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>   The relevance is due to the need to develop a modern approach to the formation of intercultural competencies of managers in the context of deepening the multicultural diversity of the international business environment. Historical changes in the political, strategic, economic and trade relations of Russia with Western countries need theoretical and practical understanding from the point of view of the need to train future specialists to work with foreign partners.   The purpose is to analyze and critically rethink foreign models of intercultural competence.   Objectives: to study three key competency models (the Dirdorff pyramid model, the ICOPROMO model and the Phipps model), as well as to substantiate the special role of trust in the model of communicative competence.   Methodology. The author relies on general scientific research methods – analysis, synthesis and comparison, and also develops a comparative approach to the analysis of the models of intercultural competence under consideration.   Results. The article substantiates the position that the Deardorff pyramid model, the ICOPROMO model and the Phipps model are focused on removing contradictions in the intercultural communication of representatives of Western and non-Western cultures. This is achieved by learning English, as well as comparing norms, values and patterns of Western and non-Western socio-cultural systems. At the same time, the "symbolic capital" accumulated by an individual in the process of training and experience of interaction with representatives of "foreign" cultures will contribute to his more successful interaction in the conditions of globalization of the labor market and internationalization of the world economy.   Conclusions. Intercultural competence is presented as a complex of cognitive-cognitive, emotional-sensory and motivational-behavioral skills that contribute to achieving more effective communication with representatives of other cultures. The article substantiates the conclusion that as a result of mastering intercultural competencies, the manager will be able to reach the socio-psychological and cultural-educational level of professional development, contributing to the development of more trusting relationships with foreign partners.
