Development of Information and Telecommunication Infrastructure of the Region on the Basis of Innovation Management in the Television Industry

Abstract

   Relevance. Regional information infrastructure is a factor in the sustainability of the social and information structure of the region, affecting public consciousness and innovative activity through content, forms of information transmission and television viewing technology. In the era of digital transformation, the technology for managing the innovative development of the television industry needs to be revised.
   The purpose is to propose new approaches to the development of the information and telecommunication infrastructure of the region based on the management of innovations in the television industry.
   Objectives: to determine the place and role of the television industry in the regional information infrastructure; analyze and identify trends in innovative development of the content and media sector in the national economy; identify current directions of development and implementation of new approaches, methods, methods and tools for innovation management in the television industry; present the approach to assessing the effectiveness of innovation management in the television industry and the results of its testing in a particular region.
   Methodology. The research methodology includes a combination of systemic and vital approaches, general scientific methods of analysis, synthesis, analogy, induction and deduction, methods of abstraction, analytical and prognostic modeling, empirical methods: interviewing, observation, expert assessments, analysis of television content.
   Results. Management of innovations in the television industry in the article is considered in the context of regional development, taking into account the specific role of the information and telecommunication infrastructure of the region's economy. The mechanism of innovation management in the television industry and the methodology for assessing its effectiveness are presented from the standpoint of a vital approach, which makes it possible to take into account the peculiarities of the process of influence on each other of a person and his environment, to present and record the composition, structure and dynamics of the socio-economic system to which the management impact is directed, its nature, level of complexity, stability and purposefulness of processes.
   Conclusion. The study made it possible to propose current areas of innovation management in the television industry, assess the effectiveness of innovation management in television companies in the region and identify reserves of efficiency growth in individual life transitions of management cycles.
