By submitting the manuscript of an article to the journal «Proceedings of the Southwest State University. Series: Economics. Sociology. Management», you acknowledge that it is an original work and that neither this manuscript nor its version has been published elsewhere or is not considered for publication elsewhere, including in a language other than Russian.
The author is responsible for the legitimate use of figures, tables and text from other sources. This applies to both direct and “secondary” reproduction (including the translation of significant text objects into Russian).

I. Recommendations to the author before submitting an article
Submission of an article in the journal “Proceedings of the Southwest State University. Series: Economics. Sociology. Management” implies that:
- all co-authors are familiar with and accept the rules of editorial ethics posted on the official website of the journal https://swsu.ru/izvestiya/serieseconom/redaktsionnaya-etika.php;
- all co-authors agree with the publication of the current version of the article;
- all co-authors agree with the publication of the article in the public domain on the Internet; on the website of the journal, the official website of the Scientific Electronic Library eLIBRARY.RU, etc.
Before submitting an article for review, make sure that the file(s) contain(s) all the necessary information, the sources of information posted on the figures and tables are indicated, all links are correctly formatted.
The topic of the article should correspond to the content of the journal as well as one of the main categories.
- Trends in the global and national economy.
- Modernization and innovative and technological development of the economy.
- Management in socio-economic systems.
- Economic policy and mechanisms for its implementation.
- State and business on the way of digital transformation.
- Actual problems of development of regional socio-economic systems.

The following files are sent together with the manuscript of the article:
- License agreement on granting the right to use the article on a non-exclusive basis.
- A completed online application form containing: information about the authors in Russian and English, which include: full name; information about the academic degree, academic rank, position; name of the structural unit and organization; Organization mailing address, including postal code and email addresses of authors. The sign marks the corresponding (responsible) author, with whom the editors of the journal will contact on all emerging issues (for this author, it is obligatory to indicate the phone number). It is desirable to indicate the identification code ORCID in the information about the authors. Those who do not have a unique ORCID should get it by registering at http://orcid.org.
It is advisable to specify Researcher ID.
The article manuscript can be registered only if a complete set of documents is provided.
The title page of the article manuscript includes the following information (both in Russian and English):
I. UDC (index according to the Universal Decimal Classification).
II. The name of the author (s)
The name of the author (s) in Russian and English. Authors are people whom the scientific group has identified as the main participants in the work presented and who agreed to take responsibility for their work. In addition to responsibility for his part of the work, the author should be able to indicate which of his co-authors is responsible for other parts of the work.
The journal “Proceedings of the Southwest State University. Series: Economics. Sociology. Management” accepts the following authorship criteria:
- A significant contribution to the conception and design of the study, data collection or analysis and interpretation.
- Preparation of the article manuscript or its critical review in terms of important intellectual content.
- Final approval of the article manuscript for publication.
The list of authors does not include people who are not the authors of the article manuscript. The names of people who are not authors, but who provided different support, are indicated in the "Acknowledgments" section.
In English, when indicating the authors of the article, the format “First name, initial letter of patronymic, last name” (Ivan I. Ivanov) is used. Surnames in English should be indicated in accordance with their spelling in ORCID ID, international passport or as it was written in previously published articles. If the author does not have an international passport and/or published articles, the BSI standard must be used to transliterate the surname and name.

III. Information about the author (s)
This section lists the academic degree, title, position. An asterisk (*) indicates the responsible author, with whom the editorial board of the journal will make contacts on all issues that arise, and an e-mail is indicated.

IV. Affiliation of the author (s)
Affiliation includes the following information: full official name of the organization, full postal address (including zip code, city and country). Authors should indicate all places of work related to the study.
If authors from different institutions participated in the preparation of the article, it is necessary to indicate the affiliation of each author to a specific institution using a superscript.

It is necessary to use the official English name of the institution for the block of information in English.
V. The title of the article
The title of the article manuscript should be brief (no more than 10 words) and accurately reflect the content of the manuscript, the topics and results of the conducted study.
Use capital-and-lower case composition.
Both in Russian and English.
VI. Abstract
Recommended length of the structured abstract is 200-250 words. The abstract should clearly indicate and disclose the following parts:
1) Relevance;
2) Purpose;
3) Objectives
4) Methodology;
5) Results;
6) Conclusion.
The above parts of the abstract should be highlighted with the corresponding subheadings and include information relevant to these sections. Abstract should not include terms introduced for the first time, abbreviations (except for commonly used), references to the literature.

VII. Keywords
5-7 words on the subject of the manuscript.
Search for articles by keywords is available in all bibliographic databases. In this regard, they should reflect the main provisions, achievements, results, terminology of scientific research.

VIII. Conflict of Interest
Conflict of interest is the conditions under which people have conflicting or competing interests that can influence the editorial decision-making. Conflicts of interest can be potential or conscious as well as real ones. Personal, political, financial, scientific, or religious factors can affect objectivity.
The author shall notify the editor of a real or potential conflict of interest by including information on the conflict of interest in the appropriate section of the manuscript.
If there is no conflict of interest, the author should also disclose this. An example of wording: “in the submitted publication there is no borrowed material without references to the author and (or) the source of the borrowing; there are no results of scientific works performed by the author (authors) of the publication, personally and (or) in co-authorship, without appropriate references. The author(s) declares that there is no conflict of interest related to the publication of this article.

The text of the article is recommended to be divided into subsections. Recommended structure:

The "Acknowledgment" section is included if necessary. In this section, if necessary, all sources of research funding (organizations that have provided financial support) as well as thanks to people who participated in the work on the manuscript but are not its authors are indicated. Participation in the work on the manuscript implies: recommendations for improving the study, providing a place for research, departmental supervision, provision of financial support.
The generally accepted international structure of a scientific article in the IMRAD format is also possible.
IMRAD is an abbreviation of words that reflect the generally accepted:
I –introduction ;
M –methodology;
R–results;
A –analysis;
D –discussion.
The recommended volume of the article should be 10 pages of printed text, including illustrations and tables.
It is given in Russian.
Manuscript text format.
The text should be typed in Times New Roman font, 14 pt,“black” colour,one line spacing;indention should be 1.5 cm, alignment should be justified.
Highlighting in the text can be done ONLY in italics or in bold, but NOT underlining. It is necessary to remove all repeated whitespace characters and extra line breaks from the text (for example, in automatic mode through the Microsoft Word “find and replace” service).
No lists use automatic numbering of the text editor.
The file with the text of the article uploaded to the submission form must contain all information for publication (including figures and tables). The structure of the manuscript should follow the template: article title ; authors of the article; name of institution (with postal address); abstract of the article; keywords; text of the article; list of sources used, more detailed information about the authors (indicating the surname, first name, patronymic, academic title, academic degree, position, division, organization name, city, country, e-mail, phone number of the corresponding author, as well as RCID, Researcher ID (optional))..
Figures
Figures must be of good quality and suitable for printing.
All figures must have captions in Russian and English.
Figures are numbered with Arabic numerals in the order in which they appear in the text. If there is only one figure in the text, then it is not numbered.
References to drawings are made as follows: “In Fig. 3 indicates that ... "or" It is indicated that ... (Fig. 3) ".
Under the figure, you must indicate the source from which it was borrowed, or indicate the source (s), on the basis of which the figure was obtained by the authors.
The figure caption includes the number of the figure and its title. Aligned to the center: “Fig. 2. Description of technical processes.
The dot after the caption is not put.
Illustrations embedded in the text must be made in one of the standard formats (TIFF, JPEG, PNG) with a resolution of at least 300 dpi. Figures made in MSWORD are embedded in the text using the "Insert-Figure_From File" option with wrapping "In text" aligned to the center of the page without paragraph indentation. Other technologies of insertion and wrapping are not allowed.
Screenshots and photos
Photos, screenshots and other illustrations which are not drawn should be uploaded in a special section of the form for submitting articles in the form of * .jpeg, * .bmp, * .gif files (* .doc and * .docx are possible if additional marks are made on the image). Image resolution should be> 300 dpi. Image files should have names corresponding to the number of the figure in the text.
Tables
Tables should be of good quality, suitable for printing. Editable tables are preferable to scanned ones or in the form of drawings.
All tables should have titles.
Table titles, header and row labels should be given in Russian and English. A title in English should be placed below the corresponding header in Russian. Headers and rowsin English should be placed below the corresponding elements in Russian.
Tables should be numbered sequentially in Arabic numerals in the text. If there is only one table in the text, it is not numbered.
References to tables should be as follows: “Table 3 indicates that ..."or “It is indicated that ... (Table 3)”.
The table title includes its sequence number and its name.
Align to the center.
There is no full stop at the end of the table title.
Under the table, you must indicate the source from which it was borrowed, or indicate the source (s), on the basis of which the table was obtained by the authors.
Formulas
To set formulas and variables, use the formula editor.
An article should contain only the most significant formulas; it is advisable to refuse intermediate calculations.
Acronyms and abbreviations
Acronyms should be avoided. In the text, all acronyms with the exception of a small number of commonly used should be explained. Abbreviations should be explained at first reference in the text.
Footnotes
Footnotes are numbered in Arabic numerals and placed page by page. Footnotes may include: links to anonymous sources on the Internet, links to textbooks, manuals, state standard specifications, statistical reports, articles in social and political newspapers and magazines, dissertation abstracts, dissertations (if it is not possible to quote articles published based on the results of a dissertation research), author’scomments.
X. References
The list of references is given in Russian (СПИСОК ЛИТЕРАТУРЫ) and English (REFERENCES) languages.
The list of references to the article is obligatory and should contain at least 20 sources.
The list of references should contain references to modern sources (published not earlier than 5 years at the time presented manuscript submission). References to earlier works are permissible only if necessary. Reference guide-/hand-books, should be published not earlier than 10 years ago.
The list of references should include only peer-reviewed sources (articles from scientific journals and monographs) referred to in the text of the article. It is not recommended to include dissertation abstracts, dissertations, textbooks, study-guides, GOSTs (state standard specifications), information from websites, statistical reports, articles from socio-political newspapers, websites and blogs in the list of references. If you need to refer to such source information, it should be placed in a footnote.
References to unpublished works are not allowed.
Self-citation should not exceed 10-15%.
The journal uses Vancouver referencing style, which implies a reference to the source in square brackets and the subsequent listing of sources in references in the order of mentioning. The page is indicated inside the brackets, separated by a comma and a space after the source number: [6, p. 8].
All references indicated in the list of references should be included in the text of the article.
References should be verified; the imprint should be checked on the official website of magazines and/or publishers.
In the list of sources in the original language, the description of all sources (both Russian and foreign) is given in accordance with the rules of Russian GOST 7.0.5-2008. "Bibliographic reference. General requirements and rules for drafting.
Information about the book (monograph, collection, conference materials, etc.) should contain: the names and initials of all authors; full name of the source; surnames and initials of editors (if they are indicated in the output of the source); city; publishing house (if any); the year of publishing; total number of pages.
Information about the article from the book should contain: surnames and initials of all authors of the article; article title; name of the book; surnames and initials of editors (if they are indicated in the output of the source); city; publishing house (if any); the year of publishing; pages containing the article.
For a journal article - the names and initials of all authors; article title; name of the journal; the year of publishing; volume; room; pages containing the article.
Only generally accepted abbreviations of journal names are allowed.
When describing a source, its DOI should be indicated. If the cited source does not have a DOI, but is located on the Internet, its access address should be indicated.
When quoting Internet resources, it is necessary to indicate as fully as possible the full name of the author (authors), the exact title of the work, the name of the resource that published the described document, as well as the exact link to the source web page (and not to the main page of the site from which the material was taken). The date of submission is required.
Making a list of references in English.
When preparing a list of references in English, after the description of the Russian-language source, at the end of the reference, an indication of the language of the work is placed: (In Russ.).
For transliteration of the names and surnames of authors, titles of journals, the BSI standard should be used.

The name of the journal and the title of monographs and collections are in italics, dots are put after the initials. There is no comma between the author's surname and initials.

In general, the structure of the article referenceis as follows:

XI. How to submit an article for consideration
The manuscript of the article is sent to the editorial office personally or by e-mail SWSU-economy@mail.ru in Microsoft Word format (with *.doc, *.docx, *.rtf extensions) along with the necessary set of documents.
XII. Interaction between the journal and the author. Peer review
The editors of the journal correspond with the responsible (corresponding) author, however, if the team of authors wishes, letters can be sent to all authors whose e-mail address is indicated. All incoming articles to the journal “Proceedings of the Southwest State University. Series: Economy. Sociology. Management " are pre-checked by the executive secretary of the journal for compliance with formal requirements. The editors have the right not to consider articles that are not designed in accordance with the requirements. At this stage, the article can be returned to the author (authors) for revision with a request to complete it according to the requirements, eliminate obvious errors, or add missing data. Also at this stage, the article may be rejected due to its inconsistency with the goals of the journal, lack of originality, and low scientific value.
After a preliminary check, the responsible editor submits the article to the reviewers. Double-blind peer review is carried out in the journal.
In disputable cases, the editor may involve several specialists in the review process, as well as the editor-in-chief.
If the reviewer's opinion is positive, the article is submitted to the editor for preparation for publication.
When making a decision to finalize the article, the reviewer's remarks and comments are transferred to the author. The author is given 1 month to eliminate comments. If during this period the author has not notified the editorial office of the planned actions, the editorial board removes the article from consideration.
When a decision is made to refuse to publish an article, the corresponding editorial decision is sent to the author.
The final version of the layout is sent to the responsible (corresponding) author of the article accepted for publication, which he is obliged to check. The response is expected from the authors within 5 days. In the absence of a response from the author, the layout of the article is considered approved.
XIII. The procedure for reviewing the decisions of the editor / reviewer
If the author does not agree with the conclusion of the reviewer and / or editor or individual comments, he can challenge the decision. To do this, the author must:
- correct the manuscript of the article according to the reasonable comments of reviewers and editors;
- clearly state your position on the issue under consideration.
The editors will facilitate resubmissions of manuscripts that could potentially be accepted but were rejected due to the need for significant changes or the collection of additional data, and are ready to explain in detail what needs to be corrected in the manuscript in order for it to be accepted for publication.
XIV. Editorial actions in case of detection of plagiarism, fabrication or falsification of data
In case of detection of dishonest behavior on the part of the author, detection of plagiarism, fabrication or falsification of data, the editors are guided by the COPE rules.
Under "unscrupulous behavior" the journal «Proceedings of the Southwest State University. Series: Economy. Sociology. Management understands any actions of a scientist that include mishandling of objects of study or deliberate manipulation of scientific information in such a way that it no longer reflects observed research, as well as behavior of a scientist that does not meet accepted ethical and scientific standards.
To "unscrupulous behavior" Proceedings of the Southwest State University. Series: Economy. Sociology. Management " does not include private errors or private discrepancies in the design, conduct, interpretation or evaluation of research methods or results, or dishonest behavior not related to the scientific process.
XV. Correction of errors and retraction of the article. Retraction
If errors are found in the text of the article that affect its perception, but do not distort the stated results of the study, they can be corrected by replacing the pdf-file of the article and indicating the error in the article file itself and on the article page on the journal website.
If errors are found in the text of the article that distort the results of the study, or in the case of plagiarism, the discovery of dishonest behavior of the author (authors) associated with falsification and / or fabrication of data, the article may be retracted. The initiator of the retraction of the article may be the editorial board, author, organization, individual.
Information about the retraction of the article is sent to the databases in which the journal is indexed.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The manuscripts are accepted if has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
The materials should be prepared in a format OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or World Perfect.
Internet links are provided as a complete URL.
Text should be typed with an interval of one and a half line spacing, font Times New Roman, 14 pt; to highlight the accents it is recommended to use italics rather than underlining (except Internet links). All images, graphics and tables are placed within the text according to the meaning of the particular part of text (and not at the end of the document).
Text should follow the stylistic and bibliography requirements as stated in Regulations located in the Part "About Us."
Please, remove the authors' names from the title of the article and other parts of the document to ensure the anonymity of reviewing.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:
