The Specifics of Digital Transformation of the Transport Industry in Russia and the World

   Relevance. The article is devoted to the study of trends in digital transformation of leading sectors of the economy, in particular, the transport industry, which is assigned a crucial role in the formation and development of the digital economy and strengthening the country's position in the global technological leadership. The study is based on the data from official sources describing current trends and the level of digital transformation of the transport industry, which is the basis for the analysis and assessment of the current state of the industry in terms of the use and implementation of digital technologies, identifying the most promising directions in the digital development of the transport industry in Russia and in the world.
   The purpose of the study is to identify trends in the digital transformation of the construction industry in Russia and the world.
   Objectives: to assess the current situation of the level of digitalization; identify opportunities and threats to the construction industry at the present stage.
   Methodology. The research is based on the general scientific methodology of literature review, system and logical analysis, methods of data collection, induction, description and processing of research results.
   Results. The factors of sectoral specificity of digital transformation, which form the features and priorities of the national strategy for the development of the country's digital economy, were outlined. The problems of differentiation of industries in the level of digitalization, which is a problem for the implementation and development of digital technologies in the economic and social spheres, were noted.
   Conclusions. Effective solutions in this area should involve the formation, consistent with the requirements of the global digital infrastructure, integrated measures of state support and regulation of the data market, which will increase the level of technological development of all sectors, including reducing the technological gap between them.
