Sociological Analysis of the Internal Factors of the Motivational Environment of Cadets Of Military Universities in the Process of Preparing for Military Professional Activity

Abstract

   Relevance. The international situation and the increasing variety of military conflicts force the Russian Federation to maintain the state of the Armed Forces at a consistently high level of combat readiness, which requires the military education system to provide high-quality training of officers motivated to conscientiously fulfill their military professional duty. An important role in the formation of motivation of military professionals is played by the environment within which the vital activity of military personnel takes place.
   The purpose is a comprehensive sociological analysis of the internal factors of the motivational environment of cadets of military universities in the process of preparing for military professional activity.
   Objectives: clarification of the theoretical essence of the internal factors of the motivational environment of cadets of military universities in the process of preparation for military professional activity; study of the organization of the impact on the motivation of cadets of internal factors of the motivational environment; development of a classification of factors of the motivational environment of cadets; study of the current state of the organization of internal factors of the motivational environment of cadets.
   Methodology. The theoretical basis of the study was formed by the ideas and views of famous sociologists. A systematic approach was used within the framework of structural-functionalism, an analysis of the regulatory framework related to the problems of this article was carried out, empirical results of the author's sociological research were presented, confirmed by a secondary analysis of data from other sociological studies.
   Results. The theoretical clarification of the internal factors of the motivational environment of cadets of military universities in the process of preparation for military professional activity was carried out, which allowed the author to develop a classification of the internal factors of this environment. At the same time, the current state of internal factors has been empirically investigated, as well as problematic issues have been identified.
   Conclusions. The internal factors of the motivational environment of cadets should be divided into factorsconditions and factors-assets, the impact of which is carried out at three levels: institutional, organizational and group. Competently structured work on the organization of the impact of these factors on the motivation of cadets forms a positive motivational environment that contributes to ensuring order, a high level of institutional stability of a military university. Currently, among the internal factors, the most problematic are the organization of leisure and recreation of cadets.
