Abstract
Relevance. The development and expansion of the sphere of financial relations in modern conditions is being transformed under the influence of a number of factors that determine new paradigms and approaches to financial resource management. Financial literacy is becoming a key factor in a successful life, and the need to implement it in educational strategies is becoming especially urgent. The increasing number of financial products and services, as well as the spread of digital technologies, require young people to be able to make informed financial decisions. A low level of financial literacy can lead to debt problems, improper management of resources and lack of savings, which leads to a decrease in the standard of living.
The purpose of this article is to analyze the current state of financial literacy implementation in educational strategies.
Objectives: to assess the level of financial literacy, to explore methods of improving the level of financial literacy, to identify the impact of financial literacy on decision-making and to deduce possible problems and threats.
Methodology. The research methodology includes empirical and analytical methods, and statistical analysis is also used, revealing the features and level of development of financial literacy.
Results. During the analysis, it was revealed that there are many methods to improve the level of financial literacy of the population. However, it is necessary to begin acquaintance with financial resources from an early age in order to prevent the formation of an irresponsible attitude towards money.
Conclusions. The results of the study showed that financial literacy is an essential component of an educational strategy that contributes to the formation of responsible citizens and consumers. It is recommended to apply a systematic approach to financial literacy training, which includes not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical skills.
