Abstract
The relevance of the topic is determined by the global trend of the "reindustrial turn", based on the modernization of the production sector of the leading national economies of the world based on the technologies of the new, sixth technological order. The recognized “window of opportunity” for the modernization transition to the next cycle, represented by a new quality of economic growth, is high-tech industries and related service companies.
The purpose of the study is to simulate the influence of the factors of development of high-tech industry and the service sector, integrated with knowledge-intensive production, on the reindustrialization of the economies of a number of countries in the modern world.
Objektives: make an economic interpretation of the integral factors in the development of high-tech industry of national economies (according to a sample of the most developed and new industrial countries) in the context of the main components; substantiate the presence of two cyclical waves that characterize the subject of this study in the 21st century; calculate an econometric model that reflects the influence of the factors of development of high-tech industries on the reindustrialization of the economies of the studied countries of the world in 2000-2019; present a graphical model of the distribution of the countries of the world in the space of the main components, reflecting the influence of factors in the development of high-tech industry on the reindustrialization of their economies for the second cyclical wave (2010 – 2019).
Methodology. As part of the study of the mesoeconomic dynamics of the medium term, the method of principal components was used.
Results: grouping of countries according to the peculiarities of the influence of factors in the development of high-tech industries and services, integrated with knowledge-intensive production, on the reindustrialization of their national economies in the 21st century; substantiation of the features of the re-industrial modernization of countries classified in four groups, depending on the different influence of specific factors in the development of high-tech industry; empirical confirmation of the objective cyclical nature (change of cyclical waves) of the "reindustrial turn" in the economies of countries striving to master the technological advantages of Industry 4.0 in order to increase competitiveness and efficiency.
Conclusions. Started in the 2010s In the leading economies of the world, the process of reindustrialization is at an early stage, but it has a strategic character, expressed in the priorities of changing the neoliberal economic course to the deglobalization concept of international cooperation, the “core” of which is industrial high-tech industries capable of providing a competitive innovative product to the world market.
