Marketing Research of the Market for the Implementation of a Startup Project in Modern Business Conditions

Abstract
Relevance. Currently, the creation and implementation of start-up projects is an important area of development in all industries and fields of activity. Geopolitical instability and sanctions restrictions against Russia predetermined the relevance of innovative development in the context of introducing start-up projects into economic practice, especially in priority areas of strategic development for the country. One of these areas is to ensure food security and, as a result, the development of agriculture in the new realities. In connection with the foregoing, the problem of conducting market research for the implementation of a start-up project requires its own scientific and practical resolution.
The purpose of the study is to substantiate the relevance and necessity of conducting market research for the implementation of a start-up project in modern economic conditions.
The objectives are defined by the subject of the study and involve substantiating the relevance of the development of the Russian mineral fertilizer market in modern economic conditions, conducting a marketing study of this market, forming an evidence base for the need to create a laboratory for the production of mineral fertilizers as a start-up project in the context of geopolitical instability.
Methodology. The research methodology involves the use of methods of empirical and statistical analysis, as well as methods of graphical and tabular visualization of the results of the study.
Results: the relevance of the development of the Russian market of mineral fertilizers in modern economic conditions was substantiated; a marketing study of this market was carried out; an evidence base was formed for the need to create a laboratory for the production of mineral fertilizers as a start-up project in the context of geopolitical instability.
Conclusions. The results of a marketing study of the Russian market of mineral fertilizers formed the basis for the creation of a start-up project to create a laboratory for the production of mineral fertilizers in modern economic conditions, which will contribute to ensuring the country's food security.
